Slim laptops and netbooks are in high demand these days, the thinner and lighter the improved it seems. We carry our laptops in all places so the easier they are to transport, the more we like them.
Of course they still have to perform well, have a decent battery life and be cool enough to be seen with. The trouble at the moment is there are just so many to choose from that companies have to try real hard to come up with something that will grip our attention.
Well at present TriGem has just announced their Averatec N1200 series Netbook and are claiming it is the thinnest and lightest 10.1-inch Netbook on the market today and yes that does value a second look.
This netbook weighs in at only 2.2 pounds thanks to its lightweight Magnesium alloy case and is less than an inch thick.
We merely get three hours of battery life although but we can expand this to six hours but only with the extended battery model, which comes through an extra few ounces of weight.
The N1200 will be obtainable in three different models with prices ranging from $329 to $379.
