Apple has put up an official announcement that saying that about 600,000 pre-orders of iPhone 4 were record on day one. U.Sbase mobile service contributor AT&T and Apple both were long-suffering pre-orders for iPhone 4. It is unnecessary to say that the love for Apple harvest among the masses hasn’t subsided as yet.
Several eager customers had to face downtime at Apple website or with the ordering arrangement at AT&T Stores, highlighting the heavy traffic. “We apologize to everyone who encountered difficulties, and hope that they will try again or visit an Apple or carrier store once the iPhone 4 is in stock.” – stated the official Apple statement. As the company always mentions, higher than unsurprising number of pre-orders were record.

Mark Siegel, an AT&T spokesman, told The New York Times, “The availability of additional inventory will determine if we can resume taking pre-orders.” Let’s hope that pre-orders start soon again and the stock of iPhone 4 flows easily. Apple fanboys and loyalists outside U.S. need to remain praying for no delays in the accessibility of iPhone 4.

“Smart phones are fundamentally becoming regular computers,” said Vinod Ganapathy, assistant professor of computer discipline in Rutgers’ School of Arts and Sciences.

“They sprint the same class of operating systems as desktop and laptop computers, so they are just as susceptible to attack by malicious software or ‘Malware.’”

Ganapathy and computer Science professor Liviu Iftode, along with three students, looked at a type of Malware recognized as Rootkits.

The obsession with Rootkits is that you don’t know they are there as they attack the operating system and aren’t easy to detect.

This potentially means that without you being conscious of it, somebody could listen in on conversations you have, remove sensitive information from your phone, or find out accurately where you are located using the Global Positioning System on your phone.
